Dear student who managed to cram the words “liminal” (twice!) and “penultimate” into a brief, 1/2 page in-class writing assignment. I am very impressed (read: mildly impressed) with your vocabulary but otherwise, I’ve no idea what you were trying to say. Let’s settle down, shall we?
