As previously reported, The Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn will release his debut solo single, “Honolulu Blues” b/w “Rented Room”, on November 25 in the US via Vagrant, and on November 28 in the UK via Full Time Hobby. As TwentyFourBit points out, the single is now available to stream via Full Time Hobby’s Soundcloud page. Check it out above.
The limited-edition 7” is released as part of Record Store Day’s Black Friday series, and will be available digitally November 29. It previews Finn’s forthcoming solo debut, out next year, which includes help from members of White Denim, the Heartless Bastards, Phosphorescent, and Centro-matic.
